The launch of the new Test-Equip New Zealand website comes with a new product line: the Starr X-Series.
The Starr X-Series is a new, exclusive range of portable test equipment from Starr Instruments. It includes two new LEEB-type metal hardness testers, an ultrasonic thickness gauge and gloss meters, with more products planned.
Portable testing matters because many measurements need to happen on-site, not in a lab. A handheld hardness tester can check metal parts where they sit. An ultrasonic thickness gauge can measure material thickness from one side, without cutting or damaging the part. Gloss meters give a number to surface finish, removing guesswork in quality checks.
The X-Series sits alongside Test-Equip’s established Starr Instruments range, giving workshops, fabricators and QA teams more choice in portable testing.
The Starr X-Series is now available through Test-Equip in New Zealand.
